At Coding Desk, we are committed to delivering exceptional services that meet our clients’ needs. To ensure transparency and protect our business interests, we have established the following Refund and Cancellation Policy.
1. Refund Policy
1.1 Non-Refundable Payments
All payments made to Coding Desk are non-refundable once services have commenced. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Project initiation fees
- Milestone payments for ongoing projects
- Advance payments for e-commerce website development
- Fees for completed deliverables, including design drafts, development, and digital marketing services
1.2 Refunds for Project Non-Completion
If Coding Desk is unable to complete the project due to circumstances beyond our control (excluding third-party failures or client-initiated cancellations), clients may be eligible for a refund. The refund amount will be calculated based on the work completed at the time of cancellation. The refund will be processed within 7 to 14 business days.
1.3 Conditions for Refund Eligibility
Refunds will only be issued under the following conditions:
- The client has communicated their concerns in writing within 5 business days of the identified issue.
- The issues raised by the client have been investigated by Coding Desk, and it is determined that the inability to deliver on agreed terms was due to Coding Desk’s fault.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations
Clients may cancel their project at any time before the project is completed. However, cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to support@coding-desk.com. The following conditions apply:
- If cancellation occurs before project kickoff or within the first 10% of the project timeline, a full refund of any advance payment will be processed.
- If cancellation occurs after the project has commenced (more than 10% of the project timeline), the client will be charged for work completed up to the cancellation date, and any remaining balance will be refunded at the sole discretion of Coding Desk.
2.2 Cancellation by Coding Desk
Coding Desk reserves the right to cancel any project for the following reasons:
- Non-payment or late payment by the client.
- Breach of the Terms and Conditions by the client.
- Lack of cooperation from the client, including failure to provide necessary materials or feedback after multiple attempts (10 to 20 times or more).
- Failure to comply with agreed-upon deadlines or project milestones.
- Unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to, legal matters, force majeure events, or the inability to secure necessary third-party services.
In cases where Coding Desk initiates a cancellation, clients will be notified in writing. Any unused funds will be refunded within 7 to 14 business days, but any work completed prior to cancellation will be billed and deducted from the total refund.
3. General Provisions
3.1 Notification of Refund Status
Clients will receive written notification regarding the status of their refund request, including the approved amount and the estimated timeline for processing.
3.2 Dispute Resolution
In the event of a disagreement regarding refunds or cancellations, the client must contact Coding Desk within 5 business days. Disputes will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution procedures outlined in the Terms and Conditions.
3.3 Changes to the Policy
Coding Desk reserves the right to modify or update this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email, and the updated policy will be made available on the Coding Desk website.
3.4 Governing Law
This Refund and Cancellation Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under this policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.
